BHSAI Exams

We are looking for students interested in achieving their BHSAI over the course of 2009/10. This is a full time working student course where you would be on the yard five days per week. The course is starting this September, and we’re also running part time courses. 

As the full time course is subject to funding, we are looking for students who are based in Ireland.

Our part time courses are an Intensive program that starts every 12 weeks and are designed to cover the entire syllabus for the appropriate exam. Stages 1, 2, 3 and PTT.

18th June Showjumping Clinic - Designed to build your confidence

Show Jumping:  4 week Clinic starting Thursday’s 8pm June 18th, 25th, July 2nd and Saturday 4th (Show Day). Jumping Heights between 80cm and 1.10m. Check notice board for full details

 

20th June Pre Test for Dressage Qualifiers Saturday 20th June.

The format for the day is as per a normal dressage show, neat dress and pre entries are essential.  Each rider will be assigned a time to ride their test or tests  after the judge will give you feedback on your test and spend some time working with you and give you tips on how to improve your scores. You will then get a chance to ride the test a second time and compare your scores.  Tests will be held on grass and or sand arena’s.  E15 or E25 for 2 tests. 23rd July Dressage Clinic - This course is designed to help improve impulsion, rhythm and accuracy with your Dressage tests. Thursday nites 8pm 23rd,30th July, 13th & 20th Aug.. Check notice board for full details

At Balcultry Stables, we are reducing our Livery Fees by 5% from the 1st of July, our Full Livery was E500 per month it will now be E475.

Our Livery service will still remain at its high level of care and excellent facilities.  This reduction in price is a gesture to help our clients in these difficult financial times.

Opening Hours

  •  Monday to Friday: 8am to 9pm
  •  Saturday, Sunday: 8am to 5pm (Flexiable for shows)

Stables & Arena Facilities

  • Large stables including 10 barn and 14 horse boxes
  • Large indoor arena (26 m x 42m) and a floodlit outdoor arena (35m x 45m)
  • Dressage arena and a Full set of jumps available
  • Clinics and Lessons available
  • Tack lockers
  • Worming programme and paddock maintenance available upon request

Congratulations & Celebrations…. Balcultry Stables has been approved by AIRE.

 

AIRE (Pronounced ‘ARA’) is the Association of Irish Riding Establishments, the body that regulates standards at riding schools and equestrian centres in Ireland. AIRE, with the sanction of the Irish Governments Department of Agriculture and Fáilte Ireland - the Irish Tourist Board, has responsibility for the inspection and registration of horse riding schools and establishments in Ireland.
